Cultural Exchange Activity Celebrating the 130th Anniversary of Mr. Mei Lanfang’s Birth

To celebrate the 130th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Mei Lanfang, a renowned Peking opera performer, and to host an exchange between leaders, experts and scholars from Beijing and Hong Kong, as well as to donate a book about Mr. Mei Lanfang’s biography to CUHK.

Furthermore, this event will feature a captivating Peking opera performance, showcasing the timeless beauty and profound artistry of this traditional Chinese theatrical form. Through this demonstration, we hope to captivate the audience and provide them with an immersive cultural experience, highlighting the enduring relevance and significance of Peking opera in today’s world.
