Since its establishment, the CUHK Beijing Center has actively supported various alumni activities of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), becoming a gathering place for alumni in Beijing. On 27 April, the CUHK Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) (Chinese) Alumni Association held the inaugural meeting of its Legal Subcommittee at the Center. Over 40 participants attended the event, including alumni from CUHK EMBA, Finance MBA (FMBA), Wuhan University, and China University of Political Science and Law.
On May 14, some CUHK FMBA alumni were invited to attend a closed-door guidance session for the preliminary round of the HICOOL 2024 Global Entrepreneurship Competition at the HICOOL Business School, where the Beijing Center is located. Leaders from Shunyi District of Beijing and representatives from the Beijing Science and Technology Innovation Fund provided professional guidance to over 20 participating projects.
Established in 2023, the CUHK Beijing Center is a key initiative in CUHK’s development on the mainland, dedicated to fostering innovative professional talent, cross-disciplinary technological collaboration, and academic exchange. The Beijing Center also serves as a liaison hub for CUHK in Beijing, facilitating the university’s expansion of various initiatives on the mainland, supporting alumni activities, and strengthening partnerships with strategic allies. The expanded cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong aims to achieve mutual benefits and complementary advantages.
