Acting Vice-Chancellor of CUHK Joins Hong Kong Higher Education Institution’s Visit to Beijing
Acting Vice-Chancellor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Professor Alan K.L. Chan, joined the delegation of Hong Kong higher education institutions led by the Secretary for Education Dr Choi Yuk-lin, to visit Beijing from 8 May to 10 May. The delegation met with Mr. Xia Baolong, Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Work Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council.
The delegates also had meeting with Minister of Education Professor Huai Jinpeng and paid visits to the Ministry of Science and Technology and mainland technology enterprise to learn about the development trends in education, innovation, and technology as well as digital economy, exploring opportunities for collaboration.
CUHK Delegation Visits Beijing
A delegation of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) visited Beijing from 25 to 27 June. Members joining the delegation included Registrar Ms. Kitty Yu; Dean of the Graduate School Professor Anthony So; and Director of China Engagement Ms. Wing Wong. The delegates visited the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange of the Ministry of Education, Tsinghua University, and Peking University. Discussions were held during the meetings to exchange on recent developments in qualification recognition, dual degree programmes, and joint training of postgraduate students.
