The 10th Summer Institute for Mainland Higher Education Executives
The 10th Summer Institute for Mainland Higher Education Executives was held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) from 15 to 21 June, with the participation of 63 executives from 27 universities of the Chinese Mainland. The programme comprised a series of lectures and activities, through which participants obtained a thorough understanding of CUHK’s unique college system, as well as various areas of work covering academic exchange, strategic development, collaborative programmes, sustainable development, registry, financial and human resource management, and diversity and inclusion. Exchange visits were arranged for participants to learn more about Hong Kong and Hong Kong tertiary institutions.
Intending to enhance communication between university executives from mainland China and Hong Kong, CUHK first organized the programme in 2013. The Institute has been serving to establish links and strengthen the interaction between executives of CUHK and its partner universities, which also enables participants to share work experiences in tertiary education settings, and paves the way for the exploration of further collaboration opportunities.
