To establish a platform for academic exchange between prominent scientists in Mainland China and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), the University launched the CAS Academicians Visit Programme in 2008. Under this programme, 5 to 6 CAS academicians are invited to visit CUHK each year and deliver public lectures in the Lecture Series by Academicians to forge academic exchange between the University and CAS. CUHK maintains close links with CAS Academicians through the programme which further enhances the research collaboration and quality of research output.
