The 13th Training Programme for Mainland Higher Education External Liaison Executives
The 13th Training Programme for Mainland Higher Education External Liaison Executives was successfully held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) from 29 October to 4 November, with a participation of 32 executives from 31 mainland universities and institutions. The programme comprised a series of lectures, cultural exchange activities, and visits, through which participants obtained a thorough understanding of Hong Kong’s tertiary education development and CUHK’s unique college system, as well as various areas of work in the University including academic exchange, strategic development, Sino-foreign collaborative education, and finance and human resources.

CUHK has been organizing the training programme since 2008 with support from the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Affairs Office of the Ministry of Education and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Hong Kong. The programme not only facilitates interflow between external liaison executives from universities in Mainland China and Hong Kong but also establishes a platform for exchange, enhancing mutual understanding and cooperation among the universities in the two regions.
