College Masters of CUHK & CUHK, Shenzhen Hold 2nd Exchange Meeting
College Masters of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHKSZ) held the second collaboration meeting on 8 December 2022. Professor Chan Wai-Yee, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Strategic Development) of CUHK; Professor Zhu Shiping, Vice President (External & Student Affairs) of CUHKSZ; and Professor Wang Cong, Associate Vice President (Student Affairs) of CUHKSZ joined the meeting with Heads/Masters and members of the nine Colleges of CUHK and five Colleges of CUHKSZ to discuss the promotion of mental health and collaboration plans. Professor Fong Wing-Ping, College Head of Chung Chi College of CUHK, and Professor Chen Yongqin David, College Master of Muse College of CUHKSZ, signed an agreement at the meeting to foster collaborations and exchanges.
Professor Chan Wai Yee and Professor Wang Cong kicked off the meeting by delivering welcome remarks. Representatives from the Office of Student Affairs of CUHK and the Student Health and Counselling Centre of CUHKSZ shared experiences in mental health promotion and the provision of counselling services. Participants reported on the activities organized by the Colleges and explored collaboration projects. Professor Zhu Shiping concluded the meeting with his closing remarks.
CUHK and CUHKSZ established a Task Force on Collaboration to provide a platform to promote exchanges and collaboration and to enhance integration and development. College Masters hold regular meetings to enhance collaboration among the Colleges of the two campuses.
