The 8th Summer Institute for Mainland Higher Education Executives
The 8th Summer Institute for Mainland Higher Education Executives was held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) from 11 to 17 June, with the participation of 88 executives from 33 mainland universities. The Institute comprised a series of lectures, cultural exchange activities, and visits, through which participants obtained a thorough understanding of Hong Kong’s tertiary education development and CUHK’s unique college system, as well as the University’s various areas of work including academic exchange, strategic development, Sino-foreign collaborative education, sustainable development, as well as financial and human resource management.

With the aim of enhancing communication between university executives from mainland China and Hong Kong, CUHK first organized this programme in 2013. The Institute serves to establish friendships and strengthen the interaction between executives of CUHK and its partner universities, enabling participants to share work experiences in tertiary settings, and paving the way for the exploration of further collaboration opportunities.
