Sharing of Zhejiang Lab Research Internship Programme
The China Engagement Office of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has joined hands with Zhejiang Lab to organize a research internship programme for Faculty of Engineering PhD Students. The programme started in May 2023 and the CUHK Faculty of Engineering nominated one outstanding research student to participate in the programme. The student shared his experience for the seven-week internship.
“During the internship at the Research Institute of Basic Theories of Zhejiang Lab, I was fortunate to work on cryptography and federated learning in Zhejiang Lab. Through this period of study and practice, I have a deeper understanding and more solid skills in these two fields. During the internship, I not only improved my professional skills but also learned how to collaborate and communicate in a team. When I encounter problems, I will take the initiative to ask my colleagues for advice, and I am also willing to share my experience. It made me understand that teamwork is the key to achieving goals.”
– Mr. Jiang Siyang, PhD student of Information Engineering, CUHK
